How to Get Rid of Genital Warts - The Most Effective Genital Warts Cure
Genital warts are the most frequently diagnosed sexually transmitted disease in the United States - it is no surprise than over 1 million new cases are reported every year.  If you have warts or growths in the genital area, it may not be much consolation that you share this common disease with so many others, but there is good news.  With proper treatment and preventive measures, you can learn how to get rid of genital warts and keep them from spreading to others.

What do genital warts look like?  These small, benign tumors can be difficult to see, especially in the genital area, but they usually look like small, flesh-colored or white bumps.  They may grow singly or in clusters; while they are not painful themselves, they may become irritated during intercourse or by tight-fitting clothing.

Which parts of the body are affected?  Genital warts may appear in the vagina and rectum, on the cervix, on the penis and scrotum, and in the groin and thigh area.

What causes venereal warts?  This common STD is caused by a widespread virus known as human papilloma virus, or HPV.  While it is related to the pathogen that causes cervical cancer, genital HPV is not  associated with cancer at all.

How can I tell if I have genital HPV?  It is possible to have warts without  ever being aware of them, especially if they are inside the vagina or rectum.  You may be able to feel the growths, or your doctor may notice them during a pelvic or physical exam.

How did I get warts there?  Genital HPV is extremely contagious.  Most people carry the virus on their skin, and it is transmitted through skin-to-skin contact during intercourse, oral sex, and anal penetration.

It is impossible to tell when you contracted the virus; it may lie dormant for any years before causing any symptoms.  While the appearance of warts may cause partner conflict, it is important to remember that you may have come in contact with the virus years before.

Will my partner get them, too?  Unfortunately, if you or your partner has warts, there is a good chance that you will share them.  You can take precautions against this by either abstaining from sex, having only a single sexual partner who is free of warts, or by using a protective barrier such as a condom (birth control pills and spermicides do not protect you from getting or passing on genital HPV.

Is there a cure for venereal warts?  While there is no absolute cure for any virus, it is possible to control so that you can lead a normal life.  Your doctor can remove your warts with an outpatient procedure which consists of either cutting them out, cauterizing them, or freezing them using liquid nitrogen.  For obvious reasons, most people prefer to try another treatment method.

Derma Remedies, a leader in the derma research industry, has designed a topical formula from all-natural botanical oils which has been scientifically proven to clear up genital warts painlessly and keep them from coming back.

By using a special blend of plant extracts, they have discovered how to get rid of genital warts without using harsh chemicals that can damage sensitive skin.  The oil is applied directly to the warts and absorbed into the root, neutralizing the virus and preventing the warts from coming back.
